Slater's 50/50
Half beef, half ground bacon, and a peanut butter and jelly burger for good measure.
About Slater's 50/50
Scott Slater opened the first Slater’s 50/50 in Anaheim Hills, California, around 2009 with one idea so simple it is surprising nobody had built a restaurant on it before: a burger patty made from half ground beef and half ground bacon. The bacon is not on the burger, it is the burger.
The rest of the menu embraces the same spirit of cheerful excess, from burgers with peanut butter and jelly to towering loaded builds, alongside a long list of craft beers. It is not subtle, but it is a lot of fun, and the 50/50 patty is genuinely worth trying once.
A small chain based in Southern California, with a few locations in other states.
