California Turkey Burger
The lighter Black Tap burger, and more interesting than the name suggests. A ground turkey patty seasoned with soy, with spicy mustard, Swiss cheese, sliced avocado, pickled red onions, a simple vinaigrette and parsley. The soy and mustard give the turkey real flavour and the vinaigrette keeps it fresh. A good choice if a half-pound of wagyu sounds like too much.

Chris Barish, son of the Planet Hollywood founder, opened Black Tap in 2015 as a tiny 15-seat burger and craft beer bar in New York. It became famous almost overnight for something other than burgers: the CrazyShake, a towering milkshake loaded with cake, sweets and candy floss that turned the queue outside into a fixture of Instagram.
