About Black Tap
Chris Barish, son of the Planet Hollywood founder, opened Black Tap in 2015 as a tiny 15-seat burger and craft beer bar in New York. It became famous almost overnight for something other than burgers: the CrazyShake, a towering milkshake loaded with cake, sweets and candy floss that turned the queue outside into a fixture of Instagram.
The burgers are what kept people coming back once the photos were taken. Black Tap won Time Out’s People’s Choice for best burger in 2016 and spread to cities from Las Vegas to Singapore and Dubai, importing American beef so the burgers taste the same everywhere.
Around a dozen locations, from New York, Las Vegas and Anaheim to Singapore, Dubai, Geneva and Zürich.
