Yumburger

The burger most Filipinos grew up with. A small beef patty with Jollibee’s creamy, slightly sweet dressing on a soft bun, and that sweetness is the whole character of it. Compared with an American burger it tastes gentle and almost nostalgic, and that is exactly why people love it.

The Yumburger has been Jollibee’s basic hamburger since the early days, but it found a new life online in 2019, when a Father’s Day commercial built around it went viral and spun off a run of internet memes. A cheap childhood burger turned into a small piece of Filipino pop culture.
