Chick Norris

A chicken burger built like Goiko’s Kevin Bacon: instead of a fillet, crispy chicken tenderloin is chopped and mixed with cheese, bacon bits, crunchy onion and egg, then formed into a patty. The name is a pun on Chuck Norris, in keeping with the chain’s celebrity-named menu. It is crunchier and more savoury than a standard chicken burger.

    About Goiko

    • Spain
    • Since 2013
    • $$

Goiko started in Madrid in 2013, when Venezuelan-born Andoni Goicoechea opened a small burger restaurant built around the kind of messy, heavily loaded burgers he loved. It caught on almost immediately, spread across Spain, and became one of the country’s most recognisable restaurant brands in barely a decade.

Well over a hundred restaurants across Spain, with a growing presence in other European countries.
