The base of the whole menu: a 100% beef patty seasoned only with salt and pepper, cooked to order and built up with your choice of toppings and sauces. There is no cheese, because the chain is strictly kosher and does not mix meat and dairy. It is also the burger in the family deals, which bundle two to five burgers of 150 grams with sides, and in the tortilla version.

Burgers Bar opened its first restaurant in 1999 in the German Colony neighbourhood of Jerusalem and spread across Israel from there. Every branch is kosher with a mehadrin certificate, the stricter level of supervision, which means no cheese on the beef burgers and a menu built entirely around meat. In 2005 Haaretz named it the only nominee for the best kosher burger in Israel.

About 30 kosher restaurants across Israel; three branches in the United States have closed.
