The heaviest of the signatures: two patties, bacon and pepper jack with a Cajun remoulade. The remoulade is creamy with a gentle kick rather than truly hot, and the pepper jack adds a little more. Messy and generous, and best eaten with plenty of napkins.

It began franchising in the 2000s, became Jake’s Wayback Burgers in 2010 and dropped the Jake’s in 2014 to avoid confusion with another chain.
