Whiskey River BBQ
The Red Robin burger people try to recreate at home, and not by accident. A pile of crispy onion straws under a heavy pour of sweet, smoky Whiskey River barbecue sauce, so the top layer stays crunchy while the bottom soaks through. With cheddar and a bit of lettuce and tomato, it is sticky, loud and very satisfying. My copycat rebuilds the buttermilk onion straws at home.
