Angus Burger
Harvey’s flagship since 2014, a bigger Angus beef patty dressed at the counter just like the original. It is thicker and juicier, the order for people who find the Original a little slight. Pair it with a side of Frings, half fries and half onion rings.
The story
Angus beef comes from the Aberdeen Angus, a black, hornless breed developed in north-east Scotland in the early nineteenth century; William McCombie of Tillyfour, who started improving the local cattle around 1824, is called the father of the breed. The first Angus bulls reached North America in 1873, and the cattle became the backbone of beef herds in Canada and the United States. Fast-food chains began using “Angus” as a mark of better beef, and Harvey’s, the Canadian chain founded in 1959, offers its Angus patty with your choice of toppings.

About Harvey's
Harvey’s opened in Richmond Hill, Ontario, on 1 April 1959. The name came from a sign: one of the founders spotted the sign of a closed car dealership called John Harvey Motors in Toronto and reused it for the restaurant. It has been a Canadian fixture ever since, now part of the country’s largest restaurant group.
Around 290 restaurants across Canada, except British Columbia.
