Smashic

The entry-level smash burger from Goiko’s menu of the day: two smashed beef patties with American cheese, tomato, lettuce and the 50 Burger Spread. It is essentially a smash-style classic cheeseburger, simple and well priced. The fresh tomato and lettuce make it easier going than the bacon-heavy smashes.

    About Goiko

    • Spain
    • Since 2013
    • $$

Goiko started in Madrid in 2013, when Venezuelan-born Andoni Goicoechea opened a small burger restaurant built around the kind of messy, heavily loaded burgers he loved. It caught on almost immediately, spread across Spain, and became one of the country’s most recognisable restaurant brands in barely a decade.

Well over a hundred restaurants across Spain, with a growing presence in other European countries.
