Black Angus Mushroom N Swiss Burger
A quarter-pound Angus patty with sautéed mushrooms, Swiss, shredded lettuce and white sauce. Simple and savoury, with the mushrooms and white sauce making it saucier than the other burgers here. Nothing surprising, but done properly. For something richer, pair it with the fried portabella mushrooms, another of the chain’s originals.

About Arctic Circle
Arctic Circle began as a refreshment stand that Don Carlos Edwards set up at Utah’s Pioneer Day celebrations in 1924. By the early 1940s he had a barbecue restaurant in Salt Lake City, and in 1950 he opened the first Arctic Circle there. At its peak the chain had 308 restaurants across the West; today it has around seventy in eight states, still headquartered in Utah.
About seventy restaurants in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Arizona and Wyoming, roughly half of them in Utah.
