Pony Line
The burger that made Holy the second-best in the world: a 200 g patty of beef dry-aged for 65 days, English Cheddar and a molasses of sugar-cane syrup with bacon, on a brioche bun, served only at the doneness the kitchen chooses. It is served in a bowl so you can mop up the sticky, smoky sauce. Deep, beefy and sweet.
The story
Holy Burger opened in central São Paulo after starting out as an events brand in 2013. The Burgerdudes ranking of the world’s best burgers placed it fourth in 2024 and third in 2025, and in 2026 it rose to second place in the world, with the Pony Line singled out for its bacon molasses and dry-aged beef.

About Holy Burger
Holy Burger started in 2013 without an address, as an events brand with a social mission and, in its own words, burger DNA. A year and a half later it moved into a tiny, industrial-looking space at number 527 Rua Dr. Cesário Mota Júnior in Vila Buarque, in the old centre of São Paulo. A renovation in 2019 gave it two handsome counters, one for the bar and one around the open kitchen, more seats and a new menu by chef Filipe Fernandes. It calls itself “the classic of the centre”.
The original bar in Vila Buarque, central São Paulo, and a branch in Porto, Portugal.
