Photo: GoikoMás S-Mash
Goiko’s straightforward smash burger: two smashed beef patties with crispy bacon, American cheese and griddled onion. It is the closest thing on the menu to an American smash-burger stand, thin crusty patties and melted cheese with nothing in the way. A good order if you find the chain’s signature burgers too busy.

About Goiko
Goiko started in Madrid in 2013, when Venezuelan-born Andoni Goicoechea opened a small burger restaurant built around the kind of messy, heavily loaded burgers he loved. It caught on almost immediately, spread across Spain, and became one of the country’s most recognisable restaurant brands in barely a decade.
Well over a hundred restaurants across Spain, with a growing presence in other European countries.
