There is no salad to cut through it, so it is salty, crunchy and heavy. “Baconzudo” is a playful Portuguese coinage for “full of bacon”, and the name is accurate.

Bob’s is the only burger chain on this site founded by a Wimbledon champion. Bob Falkenburg, an American tennis player who won Wimbledon in 1948, moved to Brazil and opened a small snack bar in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, in 1952, bringing American-style burgers and milkshakes to a country that had never seen fast food. It was Brazil’s first fast-food chain.
