The chain’s headline burger, billed on the menu as the World’s Best Burger 2026: a dry-aged beef patty with Cheddar, “mum’s BBQ” sauce, bacon, caramelised onion and camembert cream on the house demi-brioche. Sweet, smoky and funky all at once, with a thick patty cooked medium-rare in the Spanish way.
The story
Hundred Burgers opened in Valencia in 2020 after its founders spent three years eating more than three hundred burgers in 22 countries. In 2024 the World’s Best Burgers ranking compiled by Burgerdudes put it in first place, the first time a restaurant outside the United States had topped the list, and it held the title again in 2025 and 2026. The Singular is the burger the restaurant now presents as the world’s best.

About Hundred Burgers
In 2017 Alex González-Urbón and Ezequiel Maldjian bought two tickets to New York to eat the city’s fifteen best burgers in four days and review them on Instagram. They enjoyed it so much that they kept going: over the next three years they visited 22 countries, from London and Paris to Los Angeles, Dubai, Buenos Aires and Berlin, and tasted more than three hundred burgers. The hundred places that taught them the most gave the restaurant its name when the first Hundred opened in Valencia in 2020.
Around eight restaurants in Valencia and Madrid, all company-run; the founders say they will never franchise.
