In January 2025 Yahoo Life ranked Hesburger’s Double Burger 18th in its list of the 41 greatest fast-food burgers of all time, the rare Nordic entry among American classics. For a chain that started as a street kiosk in the 1960s, it was a pleasing bit of recognition.
