Dick's Drive-In

Cheeseburger

  • $3.25

A classic drive-in cheeseburger: a patty with cheese, ketchup, mustard and onions. It is the old-fashioned burger that has not changed in decades, cheap and satisfying. Fans argue endlessly about whether this or the Special is the true Dick’s order.

About Dick's Drive-In

  • United States
  • Since 1954
  • $

Dick Spady and two partners opened Dick’s Drive-In in Seattle’s Wallingford neighbourhood in January 1954, and the menu has barely changed since: hamburgers, hand-cut fries and milkshakes. There are no substitutions, burgers are cooked well done, and the line moves fast because nobody is customising anything.

A dozen or so drive-ins, all around the Seattle area.
