Chicken Shack

    Shake Shack took its time joining the chicken sandwich race and it shows, in a good way. The chicken is marinated in buttermilk and fried with a thick, craggy crust, then kept simple with lettuce, pickles and an herby buttermilk mayo. It is not trying to be spicy or huge. It is trying to be very good, and mostly is.
