KFC’s entry into the American chicken sandwich wars arrived late and landed well. A big extra-crispy fillet, thick pickles and mayo on a buttery brioche bun, clearly aimed at the famous sandwiches from rival chains. The crust is the strength here, because crust is what KFC has always done best.
