The story
When MrBeast Burger launched in late 2020, cooked in partner restaurant kitchens through Virtual Dining Concepts, its menu was named after Jimmy Donaldson and the friends from his YouTube videos. Karl’s Deluxe is named for Karl Jacobs, one of the regulars in those videos. Unlike the other styles it is a patty melt rather than a burger, with a crisp seasoned patty, caramelised onions and cheese on a toasted, inverted bun, so it doubles as the menu’s nod to an old American diner classic.
