Beast Style

  • Signature

The flagship: smashed, crispy-edged beef patties with house seasoning, American cheese, pickles, diced onion, mayo, ketchup and brown mustard on a toasted bun. It is a solid take on the smash-burger style that took over American fast casual. How good it is depends a lot on the kitchen that makes it, which is the catch with virtual brands.

The story

The launch was a YouTube video before it was a business. On 10 November 2020 a restaurant in Wilson, North Carolina, was redecorated as a MrBeast Burger for the day, giving away food, cash and a car; the queue reportedly ran for miles and the police closed it. Around 300 virtual kitchens opened on the back of it. It ended badly: in 2023 MrBeast sued his partner Virtual Dining Concepts to get out of the deal, arguing the burgers being cooked in other people’s kitchens were not good enough to carry his name.

About MrBeast Burger

MrBeast Burger is not a restaurant chain in the usual sense. YouTube creator MrBeast launched it with Virtual Dining Concepts as a virtual brand: you order through a delivery app, and the burgers are cooked in the kitchens of existing restaurants that sign up to make them.

Mostly a delivery-only brand prepared in partner restaurant kitchens, with thousands of virtual locations in the US and abroad.
