McDonald’s late entry into the chicken sandwich wars, and a respectable one. A whole fried fillet on a buttered potato roll with crinkle-cut pickles, and that is it: no lettuce, no sauce. It is clearly modelled on the famous chicken-chain sandwiches and does not quite reach them, but the crust is solid and the pickles do real work. Add a sauce packet if it runs dry.
