A burger with a Mountain West twist: bacon and a spicy guacamole instead of cheese. The guacamole brings creaminess and a little heat, and the bacon brings salt. Less common at drive-thrus than it should be, and one of the better things on this menu.
The story
The word guacamole comes from Nahuatl, the language of the Aztecs: āhuacamōlli, “avocado sauce”, built from āhuacatl, avocado, and mōlli, sauce. Avocados were being eaten in Mexico thousands of years before Europeans arrived, and one of the earliest written descriptions of a mashed avocado dish comes from the English privateer William Dampier in 1697. Good Times, founded in Boulder, Colorado, in 1987, pairs a spicy guacamole with bacon on an Angus patty.

About Good Times
Good Times grew out of Round the Corner, a sit-down gourmet burger chain started in Boulder in 1968. In the mid-1980s its owners tried a faster drive-thru format, and the first Good Times opened in Boulder in 1987. The drive-thru outlived its parent, and in 2024 it simplified its name from Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard to just Good Times.
About thirty drive-thrus, almost all in Colorado, plus two in Wyoming.
