Baconator

  • Signature

A burger with no vegetables and no apologies. Two fresh patties, a lot of cheese, six strips of bacon, and just ketchup and mayo to hold it together. It was built for people who think lettuce is a waste of space, and it is gloriously heavy. The bacon is the thing people remember, so ask for it extra crispy if you can.

Wendy’s launched the Baconator in 2007 and it became one of the chain’s biggest hits almost immediately, proof that a chunk of the market simply wanted more meat and bacon and nothing else. It spawned a whole family, from the smaller Son of Baconator to breakfast versions, and later crossed the Atlantic when Wendy’s returned to the UK.
