About The Food Truck Store

The Food Truck Store is the brand of Rodo Cámara, who comes from a restaurant family and has become one of the loudest champions of burger culture in Argentina. Besides the restaurants he created the Somos Hamburgueseros community, a burger academy and the Burgerpalusa festival. The burgers openly pay tribute to American classics, from Oklahoma onion burgers to the Juicy Lucy, adapted to Argentine tastes.

From its restaurants in Buenos Aires neighbourhoods such as Recoleta, Palermo and Belgrano, the brand began franchising: the first franchise opened in North Miami in 2021, followed by a drive-through in Pilar outside Buenos Aires and a branch in Barcelona. Since 2022 a central kitchen has supplied the Argentine restaurants, processing three tonnes of beef and some 20,000 patties a week. In 2026 the ranking The World’s Best Burgers placed it 25th in the world.

The menu mixes thick patties with smash burgers, and the bun changes with the style: a Martin’s potato roll for the smashed double, a pretzel bun for some specials. A rotating monthly special recreates a famous regional American burger, and the Argentum adds a local touch with grilled provolone and criolla sauce.

Restaurants in Buenos Aires and its suburbs, Miami and Barcelona, some of them franchised.

Signature burgers first. Only burgers and sandwiches, no sides.
