White Garlic Burger

A crispy chicken burger with a creamy, punchy white garlic sauce. Garlic is a Korean staple, and here it turns a simple fried chicken sandwich into something bold and aromatic. It is one of the chain’s most popular flavours and not one for a first date.

    The story

Garlic is not a seasoning in Korea so much as a food group — eaten raw with grilled meat, pickled, fermented black, and used in quantities that startle visitors. A creamy white garlic sauce on a fried chicken burger reads as ordinary there and as a novelty anywhere else, which is roughly the position Mom’s Touch occupies: a chain founded in Seoul in 1997 on the idea of cooking the way a mother would, no MSG and no trans fats, which then turned out to travel.
