Chicken thigh with pineapple and fresh vegetables (鳳梨鮮蔬雞腿堡). Pineapple is a familiar burger topping in Asian fast food, where its sweetness and acidity cut through fried or grilled meat, and Taiwan grows a lot of it. There is a double-beef version with the same pineapple and vegetables.

Dicos opened in Chengdu, Sichuan, in 1994, and its Chinese name, 德克士, is a nod to Texas: the chain presents its fried chicken as a Texas-style recipe adapted to Chinese tastes.
