About Epicurious

Epicurious is the recipe site of the Condé Nast food family, and its YouTube channel invented some of the most copied formats in food video. In 4 Levels an amateur, a home cook and a professional chef make the same dish before a food scientist explains the differences. In the price swap series a professional chef and a home cook trade ingredients, one getting a luxury budget and the other a modest one.

Burgers were a natural fit. 4 Levels of Hamburgers is one of the channel’s most-watched videos, followed by the $98 versus $9 burger swap with chef Frank Proto and home cook Lorenzo, a $304 versus $21 swap, veggie burger and fried chicken sandwich editions, and 50 people trying to grill a burger. Frank Proto teaches the restaurant-quality hamburger and cheeseburger sliders in Epicurious 101, pitmaster Matt Abdoo grills burgers and tastes 39 kinds of meat, and the Taste Panel blind-tests frozen beef and veggie burgers. Binging with Babish explains every decision behind his fried chicken sandwich.
