About Bayashi

Bayashi is a Japanese cooking creator whose videos have no talking at all. Each short is a minute of close-up cooking sounds, a finished dish, and then Bayashi taking a huge bite with a reaction that needs no translation. The formula made him one of the most-followed food creators in the world, first on TikTok and then on YouTube, where his channel passed 37 million subscribers.

Burgers come up constantly. There are miniature cheeseburgers and a tiny Big Mac meal made with Tastemade Japan, a tonkatsu Big Mac, a healthy lettuce Big Mac, ramen and Cheetos burgers, burgers with halved tomatoes or thick watermelon slices standing in for the bun, and Japanese wagyu burgers from restaurants such as WAGYUMAFIA and a Kobe beef burger made with a chef in Toba.

One thing to know when browsing his channel: in Japanese, “hamburger” often means hambāgu, a pan-fried patty served on a plate with sauce. Those are not burgers in the bun sense, so this page lists only the ones that are.
