Tom Barton and Phil Eeles founded Honest Burgers in 2009 and grew it into one of the best-known names in London’s burger boom. The restaurants are casual and the menu is short, built around a handful of beef burgers alongside chicken and plant-based options.

The detail everyone remembers is the chips. Every burger comes with rosemary salted chips unless you swap them for slaw or salad, and they have become as much a part of the brand as the burgers themselves. Order extra: you will want them.
