About Tasty

Tasty is BuzzFeed’s food brand, and its fast, overhead recipe videos, hands and ingredients filmed from above with no presenter, defined how recipes looked on social media in the mid-2010s. The YouTube channel grew into one of the biggest food channels in the world, mixing those quick recipe clips with longer hosted series.

Burgers run through both sides. The quick recipes cover the basics and the viral: sliders ten ways, black bean and veggie burgers, a loco moco rice burger, Japanese rice burgers, a giant cheese-stuffed burger under a bacon lattice and a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. Chefs drop in with their own versions, including the ShackBurger made by Shake Shack’s culinary director and a double cheeseburger by chef Erik Anderson.

The hosted series go bigger: a giant thirty-pound burger with fourteen pounds of beef, a giant Krabby Patty made with Babish Culinary Universe, a three-minute against a thirty-minute against a three-hour burger, a race to make a Big Mac faster than delivery, and Eating Your Feed, where the hosts recreate viral burgers from the internet.
