Sorted Food

Sorted Food is a group of friends from London who have been making cooking videos together since 2010: a couple of trained chefs and a handful of normal home cooks who play off each other in games, battles and challenges. The format has always been about making cooking less intimidating by making it social.

Burgers are one of their favourite battlegrounds. There are two Ultimate Burger Battles, a burger budget battle where the chef has £2.50 and a normal has no limit, a chef trying to beat a normal using MSG, and a whole season of the Sub-10 Minute Burger Challenge, where the team and guests such as Mythical Kitchen’s Josh, the chefs from Fallow, Max La Manna and Poppy Cooks race to make the best burger in under ten minutes.

They also recreate and review: two chefs rebuilding the Big Mac, a KFC Zinger and its vegan twin, a blind test of a “bleeding” plant-based burger, London’s best burgers on an £80 budget, the cheeseburger from its claimed birthplace in Louisville, and a trip to Gordon Ramsay’s burger restaurant.
