About Mr. Make It Happen

Mr. Make It Happen is a home cooking channel that started in Virginia during the 2020 lockdowns and grew into a seasoning line, live virtual cooking classes and a restaurant in Washington, DC. Every video ends with the same invitation, “let’s make it happen”, and the shopping lists and printable recipes are on his website.

Burgers and sandwiches are the backbone of the channel. His signature is a smash burger with jalapeño bacon jam, which also appears as a brunch burger with a runny egg. There is a steakhouse burger basted in butter like a steak, a smash burger against thick burger showdown on beef he grinds himself, a patty melt, a turkey burger with Boursin, a burger cook-off with friends for a championship belt and a video where he makes and rates every style of burger.

He also does copycats and taste tests: a Chick-fil-A spicy chicken sandwich, a fried fish sandwich in the Filet-O-Fish style, rankings of every fast-food fish and fried chicken sandwich, a frozen burger taste test and a review of Trill Burgers in Houston.

Every burger on the channel

Best-known first. Only burgers and burger-style sandwiches.
