About Guga Foods

Guga Foods is the channel of Gustavo “Guga” Tosta, a Brazilian-born cook based in Miami who built one of the largest food audiences on YouTube out of meat experiments. His other channel, Sous Vide Everything, made its name dry-aging steaks in everything from butter to cheese. Guga Foods takes the same try-it-and-see attitude to the rest of the grill, and burgers have become one of its favourite subjects.

The burger videos follow a pattern: pick a question and cook every answer. Does wagyu fat make a smash burger better? What happens if you dry-age ground beef, ferment it, deep-fry it in cheese oil or hide an ice cube inside the patty? Around the experiments sit big history projects such as a hundred years of burgers cooked decade by decade, copycats of White Castle, In-N-Out and the MrBeast Burger menu, and his own go-to smash burger on homemade buns, which he still calls the burger that changed his life.

Most videos end with Guga, family and friends tasting and ranking the results together, so the verdicts are a table’s opinion rather than one man’s.
