Food Busker

Food Busker is the channel of John Quilter, a British chef and former restaurateur who turned food into busking. In his best-known series he set up a stall at London markets such as Camden Lock and Broadway Market, cooked a single dish on the street and let passers-by taste it and pay whatever they thought it was worth.

Burgers were his most common act. He cooked a Juicy Lucy cheeseburger, a chicken schnitzel burger with baconnaise, a chicken burger with bacon jam, a halloumi burger, a soft shell crab burger, a beef cheek burger with rainbow slaw, a duck burger inspired by Duck & Waffle and Irish veggie burgers with The Happy Pear. Later videos moved into his own kitchen for a wagyu cheeseburger with battered gherkins, a beef bourguignon burger, a Christmas burger with deep-fried camembert, a Cuban frita, a lighter Filet-O-Fish, a puffball mushroom burger he foraged himself and a visit to Le Bun and to Rudy in Toronto.
