Daym Drops
The Connecticut reviewer whose Five Guys review became “Oh My Dayum”: fast-food fights and burger joints.
About Daym Drops
Daym Drops is a food reviewer from Connecticut whose energetic car-seat reviews made him one of the first fast-food stars of YouTube. His 2012 review of Five Guys, delivered with his signature “oh my dayum”, went viral and was turned into a song by the Gregory Brothers, and he has been reviewing food for his “Foodie Fam” ever since, later writing a book, Eating Across America.
Burgers are his best-known subject. He returned to Five Guys for a revisit, a five-patty burger eaten in a Rolls-Royce and a food fight against In-N-Out, and staged head-to-heads such as Big King against Big Mac and Burger King’s kids meal against the Happy Meal. He reviewed Fatburger’s XXXL, Wendy’s T-Rex, Burger King’s Angriest and A.1. Halloween Whoppers, Salt Bae’s $100 gold burger in New York and the Popeyes chicken sandwich, and visited the best- and worst-reviewed burger restaurants in his state.
