About Cowboy Kent Rollins

Cowboy Kent Rollins is a chuck wagon cook from Oklahoma who spent years feeding ranch crews and cowboys before bringing the same food to YouTube. He cooks outside almost exclusively, on cast iron, Dutch ovens and wood-burning stoves, with his wife Shannon behind the camera and a gentle, joke-filled delivery that has earned him millions of subscribers.

His burgers are cowboy-style remakes of the classics. The Big Mac made at the wagon is his most-watched video, and he has taken on the Whopper, Wendy’s Baconator and the Whataburger patty melt, always a bit bigger and more rugged than the original. He is equally proud of his home state’s Oklahoma fried onion burger and of history: his slugburger episode tells the story of the five-cent burger stretched with fillers that fed America during the Great Depression.

The rest is backyard grilling advice from someone who has cooked for crowds for decades: a smoked Texas toast cheeseburger, brisket burgers, a chorizo burger, an enchilada burger, a short rib and chuck blend, and a steady supply of tips on when to season and how to tell when a burger is done.
